Invitation: Racent × Sectigo CLM Launch in Beijing

Racent and Sectigo invited guests to Beijing on October 28, 2025 for the launch of their CLM and SSL certificate operations automation solutions, under the theme “Shorter Validity, Longer Peace of Mind.”

Shanghai Ruicheng Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Racent) and certificate authority Sectigo jointly announced a launch event dedicated to SSL certificate automation. The invitation brought together organizations looking for practical ways to manage shorter certificate lifetimes.

A practical response: automate SSL certificate operations

Certificate expiry can disrupt even large services. The original announcement cited reported incidents involving Apple Music in November 2024, an unnamed major e-commerce site in April 2024, an approximately one-hour Starlink interruption in April 2024, and a roughly 45-minute disruption affecting Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Azure in 2024. These examples reflect the reports cited in the original invitation; they are not new incident investigations or statements about those services today.

Following the CA/Browser Forum’s decision to shorten certificate lifetimes in stages from March 2026, the maximum validity of newly issued publicly trusted TLS certificates is scheduled to reach 47 days in March 2029. More frequent renewal makes manual, fragmented processes harder to sustain.

Organizations need a safer and more efficient way to handle certificate operations. The event focused on how automation can support that transition.

The program combined product introductions, demonstrations of real deployment scenarios and direct conversations with technical specialists. Its aim was to help attendees connect the upcoming validity changes with an operational plan for their own environments.
